Prime Minister Narendra Modi previously called for India to become a leader in the digital gaming industry, saying, "We must create attractive digital games based on our country's culture and traditions." India has the potential to build a resource base in animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics (AVGC) that can meet global market demands.
