DOUBLE HONOUR FOR 7SEAS ENTERTAINMENT AT FICCI BAF AWARDS 2026
“Horse World Ride” wins Best Mobile Video Game; “Sand and Fire” recognised for AI-powered photorealistic content.
Hyderabad, 1 October 2026: It was a memorable evening for 7Seas Entertainment Limited at the FICCI Best Animated Frames (BAF) Awards 2026, where the Hyderabad-based gaming and digital-content company received two honours across mobile gaming and artificial-intelligence-led visual creation.
At the awards ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, on 29 September 2026:
- “Horse World Ride” won the award for Best Mobile Video Game; and
- “Sand and Fire” won the award for Best AI – Photoreal Humans & Animals.
Ultimate Women’s Cricket League mobile game was recognised as a Runner-Up in the Mobile Video Game category. The company also received a nomination in the Best AI for Ad Film Production category for its work for Nirmala Coffee Works, Nellore. The double recognition brings together two areas that are central to 7Seas Entertainment’s creative journey: building original and engaging game experiences, and exploring how AI-assisted tools can support new forms of visual storytelling.
Two projects, one creative direction
Horse World Ride is built around the experience of horse riding and exploration for mobile audiences. Its recognition in the Best Mobile Video Game category reflects the work undertaken across gameplay design, visual development, engineering, testing and player experience.
Sand and Fire explores AI-assisted visual storytelling through the creation of photorealistic characters, animals and environments. The project demonstrates how new production tools can be used to expand creative possibilities while keeping human judgement, direction and quality control at the centre of the process.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. L. Maruti Sanker, Managing Director of 7Seas Entertainment Limited, said:
“Winning two awards across gaming and AI-led content is a proud moment for everyone at 7Seas. Horse World Ride reflects our passion for creating enjoyable and immersive games, while Sand and Fire represents our willingness to explore new methods of storytelling and visual production.
These recognitions belong to our developers, artists, designers, animators and every team member who worked patiently to turn the original ideas into finished experiences. The awards give us confidence, but they also give us a greater responsibility to keep improving the quality and ambition of our work.”
The awards add another chapter to 7Seas Entertainment’s association with the FICCI BAF platform and reinforce its focus on original gaming intellectual property, mobile-first development and emerging content-production technologies.
Building from Hyderabad for a wider audience
Based in Hyderabad, 7Seas Entertainment develops and publishes games and interactive content across mobile, PC and web platforms. Its production capabilities extend across concept development, game design, software engineering, animation, quality assurance, publishing and ongoing product optimisation.
The Company is also introducing selected AI-assisted workflows into areas such as design exploration, testing, visual development and content production. These tools are intended to assist creative and technical teams; responsibility for intellectual-property rights, confidentiality, quality and final-release decisions continues to remain with people.
Mr. Maruti Sanker added:
“Our aim is not simply to create more content. We want to create better experiences—games and stories that carry original thought, careful execution and the ability to connect with audiences. We see this recognition as encouragement to move forward with greater focus and confidence.”
With the recognition of Horse World Ride and Sand and Fire, 7Seas Entertainment intends to continue strengthening its gaming portfolio, exploring responsible applications of AI and developing digital experiences for audiences in India and international markets.
